The Northside Rotary Club is offering $500 individual college scholarships for qualifying students in Victoria area high schools.  One scholarship will be awarded to a student from East High School, West High School, St. Joseph’s High School and one from a combined group of students in Liberty Academy, Faith Academy, and those receiving their G.E.D. through Victoria College’s Adult Basic Education program.

Scholarship recipients will be chosen from applicants showing exceptional character.  This will be determined through grades, school service, extracurricular activities and from information gained from a written essay.  As the Rotary Club emphasizes “Service Above Self,” applicants are encouraged to display this through their essays.

Applications will be accepted through April 15, 2022.

To apply, please contact the counselor at the applicant’s school.  For more information, please email npenry@suddenlink.net.
