Dale brings more than 34 years’ experience of customer service in economic and community development, including 17 years at American Electric Power to his position of President of the Victoria Economic Development Corporation. He is a Certified Economic Developer by the International Economic Development Council, a graduate of the University of Oklahoma’s Economic Development Institute, and holds a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences degree in business and marketing. Dale lends his leadership skills to the Texas Economic Development Council where he serves on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors. His extensive background in the utilities market allows him to provide valuable insight to prospective and current businesses. Dale maintains a quick pulse on the local and state governments, keeping abreast of the climate for business development.
